WESTVIEW DANCE CLUB - MEMBER WORKSHOPSURVEY

We are planning a 4 week member workshop scheduled for February 27th to March 17th (Classes at 8pm, Tuesdays). We would like your feedback on the three dances that have been suggested for the workshop. Please read the descriptions and indicate the priority of your interest for each dance below.

Mambo is a Latin dance of Cuba which was developed in the 1940s when the music genre of the same name became popular throughout Latin America. It is characterized by strong hip movements, rhythmical body actions, quick footwork and unique arm wraps and turns

Salsa is a Latin dance, associated with salsa music, which was first popularized in the 1960s in New York City. This fun and energetic Latin dance has many fast turns, exciting footwork, rhythmic hip movements, and lively music.

The Viennese Waltz is featured in many romantic and animated films. It is characterized by sweeping, graceful turns that rotate quickly around the floor. Similar to the waltz, it is danced at a much faster tempo.
